Sky to Continue Showing All 24 Races
Formula 1 racing is set to make a grand return to RTL in 2024, as the broadcaster will air a total of seven races live on free television. This exciting announcement marks the return of the pinnacle of motorsport to RTL after a brief hiatus.
In addition to the seven live races, RTL will also broadcast all remaining Formula 1 Saturday sessions, ensuring that viewers do not miss any of the thrilling qualifying and sprint action. Sky, as usual, will continue to air all 24 races of the 2024 Formula 1 season.
The partnership between RTL and Formula 1 provides fans with a comprehensive viewing experience. RTL's free-to-air coverage will cater to a wide audience, while Sky's comprehensive live coverage will satisfy the most dedicated enthusiasts.
The upcoming Japanese Grand Prix in Suzuka will mark the fourth race of the 2024 Formula 1 season, and will be broadcast live on RTL. An additional five Saturdays will feature qualifying or sprint races on RTL's free-to-air channels.
RTL will broadcast either the Formula 1 qualifying or the sprint live during each race weekend. The Grand Prix of Bahrain, scheduled for March 2nd at the International Circuit, will also be among the races shown live on RTL.
